Corporate Renewable Power Agreements

Linde signed six new renewable power purchase agreements to source electricity from newly developed wind and solar assets in Spain, Greece, South Africa and India, providing approximately 0.63 TWh of renewable energy annually. The deals build on Linde's progress, with active renewable power purchasing nearly tripling from 2.8 TWh in 2021 to 7.6 TWh in 2025. Low-carbon power now accounts for roughly half of the company's global electricity consumption.

The agreements support Linde's target to reduce absolute emissions by 35% by 2035 as part of a broader sustainability strategy. In 2025, Linde's products and services helped customers avoid 98 million metric tons of CO₂ equivalent, more than double the company's own operational emissions.

Linde shows how large-scale corporate power purchase agreements are becoming a primary tool for accelerating clean energy deployment across both established and emerging markets while helping global companies make measurable progress toward long-term emissions targets.
