Vestas received a 70 MW order from Tessa Green Energy to supply 11 EnVentus V162-6.4 MW turbines for the Strazhitsa wind project in Bulgaria. The agreement includes a long-term Active Output Management 5000 service contract, which supports operational reliability and performance. According to Vestas, the project marks an important step in revitalizing Bulgaria’s wind energy sector, which has recently shifted from being a net importer to a net exporter of electricity. This transition has contributed to greater energy independence and reduced exposure to fluctuating energy prices.

Tessa Green Energy stated that the partnership aligns with its ambition to become a leading regional energy company. Vestas noted that the project represents renewed momentum in a market where it has maintained a presence since 2007, with more than 360 MW installed and a well-established service organization. Deliveries for the Strazhitsa project are scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027, with commissioning planned for the second and third quarters of the same year.
