Rainforest Builder has closed its Series A funding round to scale future carbon removal projects and refine 'Chameleon' a proprietary data platform used to optimize project and ecological data. Led by BNP Paribas Asset Management, it secured one of the largest private investments in forest restoration to date.

This includes Project Columbas, a long-term restoration initiative in Ghana that is projected to restore at least 70,000 hectares and generate over 7 million high-quality carbon removal credits. The project is expected to follow the Verra VM0047 methodology and the Climate, Community & Biodiversity standard over its lifetime. As demand for verified carbon removal grows, partnerships backed by large-scale investments illustrate how companies are turning to carbon removal to support climate goals.
